With passionate love for dancing and
hard training, Thuy Chi always performs successfully both traditional and
modern dances, which are highly appreciated by audiences. Moreover, she
also creates an impressive language for dancing in her solo works. In
traditional dances, her movements look very graceful and romantic, but
ebullient and effervescent in modern and exciting ones. At the age of 18,
she graduated from the Guangdong Dance School (China) and has achieved a
great success.
After graduating from the Guangdong Dance School (China),
Thuy Chi was selected to attend the Jinxiu Dance Troupe in the Shenzhen.
With experience drawn from three years of dancing in this troupe, Thuy Chi
passed the entrance exam for the Choreographer Faculty at the Beijing
Dance Institute.
At the age of 18, Thuy Chi has
a brilliant beauty and an ideal body for dancing. With passionate love for
dancing and hard training, she always performs successfully both
traditional and modern dances, which are highly appreciated by audiences.
Moreover, she also creates an impressive language for dancing in her solo
works. In traditional dances, her movements look very graceful and
romantic, but ebullient and effervescent in modern and exciting
ones.
Born into an artistic family,
Thuy Chi inherited the talent from her parents, Merited Dancer Kim Dung
and Professor and People’s Violist Ta Bon. When a child, Thuy Chi often
followed her mother to dancing classes. Like her friend, Linh Nga (the
daughter of dancers Dang Hung-Vuong Linh), Thuy Chi started dancing in the
“Little Stars” class, which was opened in 1995 by their parents. Thuy Chi
and Linh Nga quickly led the class and become famous from artistic
programs in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Hue cities. In 1998 the two girls
trained in the Guangdong Dance School, however, they usually came back
home and performed with the “Little Stars” in the occasion of great
festivals, such as the Festivals in Hue. At the Chinese National
Professional Dancing Contest entitled “Taoli Bei-2003”, Thuy Chi won the
Prize of “Excellent Dancer” and a Special Prize of the juries with a solo
work.
The dancing art of China, full
of unique characteristics and modernity will not only helpnbsp; Thuy Chi
reveal her talent, but also turn her dream into reality, i.e. to become a
famous dancer.
