Ethnic minority people from the mountainous areas of northern Lai Chau province flocked to the center of Than Uyen commune to celebrate Vietnam’s National Day on September 2.

 

The festivities created a vibrant atmosphere, bringing together local residents and visitors to enjoy a wide range of cultural activities that showcased the rich traditions and identities of ethnic communities in the Northwestern region.

 

Traditional costumes added a splash of color to the celebrations, while folk performances, music, dances, and cultural activities offered visitors an opportunity to experience the distinctive heritage of local ethnic groups. Families and young people gathered in public spaces, creating a lively and festive scene throughout the commune.
