DPRK Chairman Kim Jong-un arrives in Vietnam

Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un arrived at Dong Dang Station in the northern border province of Lang Son on February 26 morning, beginning a trip to Vietnam to attend the second DPRK-USA Summit and an official friendship visit to the country.

Thousands of local people held the national flags of Vietnam and the DPRK and flowers to welcome the DPRK leader at Dong Dang Station.
 
Vietnam and the DPRK officially established diplomatic relations on January 31, 1950. Since then, Vietnam has always treasured the traditional friendship and cooperation with the DPRK.
