Binh Minh Food JSC is one of the leading agricultural products manufacturers and exporters in northern Vietnam. The factory is located on Hung Vuong Street, Hai Phong City. Each day, several products such as chili sauce, pickled bamboo shoots, and baby cucumbers with the Binh Minh brand are sold in the markets. These agricultural products have also been exported to Japan and some countries in Europe.

With a plentiful resource supplied by neighbouring localities, the company produces canned vegetables of high quality, purity and hygiene. Binh Minh’s key exporting products are high quality chili sauce, pickled baby cucumbers and spicy pickled bamboo shoots.
 

In its early days, Binh Minh focused on producing spicy red bottles of chili sauce with a fiery flavor, called “Tuong ot que toi” (chili sauce of my hometown) which has become a specialty of the company .

Recognising the great potential of agriculture products in the north, especially localities around Hai Phong, the company has extended its product line and produced other products, namely high quality soy sauce, baby cucumbers, pickled bamboo shoots, shacha sauce and cherry tomatoes. These products have now become favourites in the domestic market and are the choice of many Vietnamese for their daily meal. For Vietnamese expatriates, the company’s products remind them of their hometown. These canned foods are very expedient in modern times and have been increasingly accepted.

Binh Minh Food JSC pays much attention to the process of quality control from cultivation, production to packaging. The factory leaders themselves often go to the source to inspect the stage of harvesting products in order to make sure that the materials sent to the factory meet the fresh and clean standards.

Nguyen Van Xien, the company’s Director, said that though confronting numerous difficulties and tough competition in the market, the company still maintains its position in the domestic market and has expanded into foreign markets such as the US, Japan and Africa thanks to its agricultural products which show Vietnamese culinary tastes.
 

According to the prediction of the Vietnam Fruit & Vegetable Association, the export market is wide open for high quality canned vegetables. To bring canned vegetables to foreign customers is also a strategic goal of Binh Minh because it is a good way to popularise and promote Vietnamese agricultural products to the world.
