Hanoi , August 29 (VNA) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong gave a reception for a delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) Central Committee led by its Chairman Saysomphone Phomvihane in Hanoi on August 29.
The Party chief highlighted the important significance of the bilateral relations of the two countries, while applauding connection between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the LFNC as well as their cooperation agreements.
He expressed his hope that the two fronts will continue coordinating closely to improve the efficiency of the building of national great unity in the two countries, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity.
For his part, Chairman Saysomphone Phomvihane, said the LFNC will enhance coordination with the VFF in training staff, sharing experience and promoting exchanges among the two countries’ localities.
The two sides will work closely in educating the young generations about the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity, and in building the two nations’ border line of friendship and peace, thus contributing to further developing friendship and solidarity between the two peoples in the coming time, he added.
He also congratulated Vietnam on its important achievements in recent time, and thanked the Party, State and people of Vietnam for their great support for Laos in the past and at present as well.
