Huu Nghi - A Prestigious Confectionary Trademark

Huu Nghi Food Joint-stock Company (Huu Nghi Food) is one of the most prestigious confectionery companies in Vietnam. Its products, including biscuits and cookies, cream crackers and candies that are the favourites in both domestic and foreign markets because of the delicious taste and high quality.
During the days before the Tet (lunar New Year) festival, Huu Nghi brand products were available in most of the supermarkets and shops on the streets in Hanoi and they are much sought after by customers.

With 20 years of experience specialising in confectionary processing and manufacturing, the company has consistently created new types of high-quality products with eye-pleasing appearances. Huu Nghi produces hundreds of different types of products, namely biscuits and cookies, cream crackers, cream wafers, jams, candies, moon cakes and processed foods which are made of fruit, an abundant resource in Vietnam.
 

Huu Nghi has 4 factories with many modern production lines meeting European standards.

The company’s high-class cream cracker paper boxes, such as Tio, Omoni, Spring, Oriental and Goldream which are rich in nutritious components and good for health, are considered a type for “external purposes” so they are bought as presents for relatives and partners on special occasions. The company is also famous for candy boxes of Joli and Suri with milky, chocolate and caramel tastes.

The company also makes types of bread named Staff and Lucky with salted shredded pork filling and cheese sausage filling which are appreciated by customers.  These cakes are also selected by many foreigners in Vietnam for their breakfast.

With products of high quality, diversity in types and delicious tastes, the company has a wide range of sections in the market, meeting the different demands of customers. It annually reaches a turnover of over 1,000 billion dong, submitting to the state’s budget of over 44 billion dong and an export volume of more than 10 million dollars.

Having caught up with the ever-changing tastes of customers and devising a sound development policy, Huu Nghi Food has not only affirmed its position in the domestic market but also exported products to 10 foreign countries like Japan, RoK, China, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, the Philippines, Laos and Indonesia. In its development strategy, the company has sets a target of becoming one of the leading Vietnamese confectionary businesses exploiting the market in Muslim countries where there is a large consumer demand. To obtain the set target, Huu Nghi Food invested in expanding production facilities and advanced production chains. The company built four factories equipped with modern equipment and machines, meeting European standards.

The company has developed a distributing network of hundreds of wholesalers and about 200,000 retailers nationwide and pioneered in the application of hygiene and safety standards and quality management system of ISO 22.000:2005 and HACCP.

For achievements obtained over the years, the company has received many awards, including the title of a strong Vietnamese brand name (2009), the enterprise of integration and development (2009), a golden cup for typical product on the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi (2010) and  high-quality Vietnamese products for many consecutive years.
