Situated on Nguyen Cong Hoan Street, the steel structure was built in March 2015 at a total investment of approximately 60 billion VND (2.7 million USD).
Covering 1,048 square metres , the car park is capable of accommodating 221 six-seater cars.
A similar construction has previously been put into operation on Tran Nhat Duat Street and is expected to be replicated across the capital city, said Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee.
These car parks are the solution to limiting the number of cars parking on streets that has added to local traffic congestion.
