The MoU includes 10 contents with a focus on lifting the friendship between people of the two countries in general and between young people of Da Nang city and Salavan province in particular.
Under the MoU, the two youth unions will coordinate to organize educational campaigns on the history of the two countries and the Vietnam-Lao fraternal relationship, especially the ties between Da Nang and Salavan.
The two unions will also organise voluntary programmes yearly.
Da Nang will establish the Lao oversea students club in 2016 to help Lao students learn Vietnamese and soft skills to quickly integrate into the life of Da Nang city.
