Hanoi, April 8 (VNA) – King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni and King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej on April 8 sent congratulatory messages to new President Tran Dai Quang.
Quang was also congratulated by President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun-hye, French President Francois Hollande, King Felipe of Spain, King of the Netherlands Willem Alexander, Queen Margrethe of Denmark and President of Belarus Alecksandr Lukashenko.
In their congratulatory messages, the leaders expressed their belief in the further development of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and their countries.
On the occasion, Singaporean PM Lee Hsien Loong also cabled a message of congratulations to the Vietnamese government leader.
Also on April 8, President of the Cambodian Senate Say Chhum and President of the Cambodian National Assembly Heng Samrin cabled congratulations to NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
President of the House of Councillors of Japan Yamazaki Masaaki and President of the House of Representatives Tadamori Oshima also congratulated her.
Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh also received greetings from her Chinese counterpart Li Yuanchao.
