Antiques found under NA House on show

Hanoi, May 20 (VNA) – Relic designs and objects unearthed between 2008-2009 during the building of the new National Assembly (NA) House were opened to the public on May 19.

The event was organised by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences as part of activities to mark the 126th anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday and the elections of deputies to the 14th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.

NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and her predecessor Nguyen Sinh Hung attended the exhibition.

The exhibits were displayed at the two underground exhibition halls to the east of the NA House.

They include architectural designs, works and antiques, featuring the historical values of the Dinh – Pre Le dynasty in the seventh, ninth and 10th century; and the Ly, Tran and Le dynasties between the 11th and 18th century.
