Ambassador visits Vietnamese traders in Russia

Moscow , February 26 (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son on February 25 visited the Moscow Trade Centre (MTC) or the Liublino Market where many overseas Vietnamese (OVs) are running businesses.

At a working session with MTC General Director Omar Murtuzaliev, the diplomat was informed that the centre has created optimal conditions for Vietnamese traders.

Murtuzaliev noted his hope for further cooperation with and support for Vietnamese in linguistic and legal issues to help them run businesses in the host country in a stable and lawful fashion.

For his part, Ambassador Son hailed the centre’s contributions to Russia’s economic development, as well as to Vietnamese traders.

He invited representatives from the MTC Management Board to visit Vietnam and study the local market in order to enhance cooperation between the two sides.

While visiting Vietnamese traders at the centre, the diplomat expressed his hope that the Russian economy will rebound in the second half of 2016.

Many traders said their business is facing a range of challenges but they hoped that the situation will be better in the coming time.
