According to the Hanoi Transport Service Company (Transerco), the new buses will run on routes 55A (Cau Giay-Times City) and 55B (Cau Giay-Aeon Mall Trade Centre).

The buses are painted blue, have a logo and offer conveniences such as advanced emission standards, free WiFi, Light Emitting Diode bulletin boards showing routes and a Global Positioning System (GPS) that announces stops.

Routes 55A and 55B run every 15 to 20 minutes from 5am to 9pm everyday with ticket price of 7,000 VND (0.3 USD) per trip.

A leading Transerco official said since early this year, the company has launched 166 new buses to provide more cheap and convenient means of public transport for the capital’s citizens.
