Dep Fashion Runway 3

Themed “Life of Megacities”, the 3rd ready-to-wear fashion show of Dep Fashion Runway was held for the first time in Hanoi in the main square of Vincom Royal City Mall by Dep Magazine, a supplement of Vietnam Pictorial. The event gave viewers an opportunity to admire a new trend of ready-to-wear designs.
Taking place on September 13, 2014’s evening, Dep Fashion Runway 3 was not only a fashion show but also a gala of street art, which boiled the atmosphere at Royal City Mall’s main square.

Dep Fashion Runway 3 featured five collections by leading Vietnamese designers, including Devon Nguyen, Ly Quy Khanh, Ngo Thai Bao Loan, Huy Tran and Eva de Eva’s designer. 

Dep Fashion Runway 3 was held in the main square of Royal City Mall, Hanoi for the first time.

  Collections by five designers are showcased on a colourful stunning stage.

A phenomenal design by Ly Quy Khanh is decorated with fresh flowers.

Most of the designs at Dep Fashion Runway 3 were made from Vietnamese silk and materials from Thailand and South Korea. The Vietnamese designers applied many modern techniques to cloth processing, printing and designing that affirmed Vietnam is indeed catching up with fashion powers all over the world.

Dep Fashion Runway 3 is truly a party of creative art where the audience could enjoy two unique collections by Ngo Thai Bao Loan and Devon Nguyen. Ngo Thai Bao Loan took inspiration from architecture, cubes, 3D patterns and especially stairways while Devon Nguyen showed her outgoing mind and creativity in each design. Being neither tight nor low-cut, Devon Nguyen’s outfits still look young, sexy and attractive with her clever colour choices that can draw much attention to anyone who wears them.

Ly Quy Khanh brought the show a large number of delicate designs. His collection gave the audience the feeling of romance, enchantment and fascination with his complicated flowery details. Ly Quy Khanh used different materials such as embroidery and organza of pastel blends which are modern trends around the world.

Unlike the collections mentioned above, Huy Tran’s was for mothers. In the collections, he showcased many fashionable trends especially minimalist styles with beautiful cuts.

 
Eva de Eva’s design is the first to be showcased..

Coming next  is a designs by Devon Nguyen which are
feminine but also for active women.


Clothes in black, white or red had their own distinction.

Young designer Ngo Thai Bao Loan brought clothes of basic colours with cuts and folds of delicacy.
 
Huy Tran’s designs are light but full of grace.

Huy Tran also show a natural concept with patterns of flowers and leaves in his outfits and his dainty wedding gown
with details of gemstones and crystal.

Designer Ly Quy Khanh showcases gowns with hot blends and fine details with embroidery and lace.

Dep Fashion Runway 3 left a strong impression on the audience. The show revealed the life in megacities and went beyond a normal fashion show. The success definitely produced strong hope for Dep Fashion Runway 4.

Fashion designer Nguyen Lan Anh, born in Yen Bai, has named her new collection "Moncheri in Mucacha," with "Mucacha" simply being an abbreviation for "Mu Cang Chai".

Top
