“Chula Loves Hanoi”

To mark his tenth year of working and living in Hanoi, Spanish fashion designer Diego Cortizas Del Valle made public a collection entitled “Chula Loves Hanoi” at the Vietnam Autumn-Winter Fashion Week.

Patterns impress the viewers.

The “Chula Loves Hanoi” fashion collection with gorgeous fabric, bright colours and hand-stitched distinctive designs shows the Spanish designer’s love for Hanoi. He incorporated the beauty of Hanoi with its bustling life, streets, landscapes of  Long Bien Bridge, the Hanoi Flag Tower and Khue Van Cac into his designs which makes them diverse and globally respected.
The fashion collection also amazed the viewers with its traditional patterns and illustrations of “dual happiness” scripts, cardboard masks and Kumquat trees. The address plates on houses with their colours of white and blue which are familiar in Hanoi are also reflected through charming outfits or accessories.

Talking about “Chula Loves Hanoi”, Diego Cortizas Valle said: “2014 was an important year that marked a period of ten years living and working in Vietnam where I founded Chula and  developed it to become a famous fashion brand for women. It is the place where my three children were born. I always think that I am a Vietnamese designer so I made this collection as a present to this beautiful city, my second homeland.”
