Ten years have passed since the article titled “General Vo Nguyen Giap – A pan-century military marcher”, written by People’s Artist Dao Trong Khanh for Vietnam Pictorial, was published on the occasion of the General’s 90th birthday in 2001. General Vo Nguyen Giap began his 100th year on August 25, 2010 at the time when the whole country is preparing for the Great Celebration of the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi.
